The provision of airport services covers a range of areas specific to an environment where time and the availability of services for passengers and airlines are essential factors. It is within this context that COFELY Services is able to supply management with skills and results-driven contracts whereby it is committed to respect the up-times which underpin the efficient operation of the installations at all times.
Hence, leaving aside conventional technical areas such as HVAC (Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning), Electricity, Sanitary Systems, Fire Defence and Detection, COFELY Services has for a number of years extended its services into specific airport areas, such as baggage sorting, X-ray screening machines, boarding bridges, approach systems (Airplane Docking Guiding Systems), 400 Hz power-supplies, and PCA (Pre-Conditioned Air).
Our provision of long-term service in these very specific areas means that we are also in a position to offer the automated and IT services linked to these systems. It also means that we are able to advise on, supervise and undertake the re-location or improvement of installations within a context in which operational and technical transformations are perpetually ongoing.
The fact that technical management and operational management are growing ever closer means that we are now very closely involved with the latter, and in some cases we are able to offer services involved with the technical supervision of installations (Baggage Handling Control Room), the manual handling of special baggage and participation in chute planning (Chute Allocation).
