History
COFELY Services was set up in Belgium in 1963 under the name "Compagnie Générale de Chauffe" (General Heating Company).
Originally a 42.5 % subsidiary of the Fabricom Group in 1970, COFELY Services is now 100% owned by the GDF SUEZ group.
The development of COFELY Services in Belgium has been meteoric: that success is demonstrated by an annual growth in double figures for the past decade.
Since 1997, COFELY Services has devoted much effort to its activities outside Belgium: in France, the UK, the Netherlands, the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg, Greece and in the Central European nations.
Since januari 2005, COFELY Services is a member of the "GDF SUEZ Energy Services" entity of the GDF SUEZ group. This arm of the GDF SUEZ group has approximately 80,000 staff in Europe and achieved in 2008 a turnover of 14 billion €.
In 2008, Cofely Services' turnover reached 255 million € and its staff 1.874 people.
